The Boston Harbor Hotel hosts its first Oktoberfest-inspired biergarten on Tuesday, September 30, featuring tastes of local craft brews and beer-centric bites by Chef Daniel Bruce. From 5:30 to 8:00 pm, the outdoor dome-shaped Pavilion at the Boston Harbor Hotel will transform into a harborside beer fest in celebration of the end of summer and coming of fall. 

Guests are invited to join in on the Oktoberfest fun and taste an array of hops along the harbor with brews from three of Boston’s best craft breweries including Harpoon Brewery, Jack’s Abby Brewing and Slumbrew. Owners or representatives from each brewery will be on hand to guide guests through featured brews as part of this special tasting event.

Beer connoisseurs, Oktoberfest fans and those looking for the perfect place to unwind after-work will enjoy a variety of harvest beers and brew-inspired fall dishes by Chef Daniel Bruce including Wild Mushroom Fritters with Stout Aioli, Orange and IPA Marinated Shrimp Brochettes, Crepe Wrapped Beer Braised Pork Rillettes, and Tenderloin & Vermont Cheddar Cheese Sliders.

Oktoberfest at the Boston Harbor Hotel will also feature a harvest charcuterie and antipasto display including Bavarian favorites such as the three ‘Wursts’ (knackwurst, bratwurst and bierwurst) and Jumbo Soft Pretzels with German Horseradish Sour Cream and Beer Laced Grain Mustard. In celebration of the New England harvest, guests will enjoy a selection of Porter-tossed roasted vegetables, New England artisan cheeses and seasonal freshly-baked Pumpkin, Anadama and Boston Brown Breads. For something sweet, Pastry Chef Shawn Dresser is serving up Traditional Bavarian Apple Strudel with a touch of New England.
